With a strong foundation in both family and psychiatric nursing, Allison Tucker McCulley, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC brings advanced expertise, compassion, and versatility to her work as a nurse practitioner. Board-certified as both a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Allison provides holistic, evidence-based care for children, adolescents, and adults across diverse settings.
She has extensive experience in acute inpatient psychiatry, outpatient medication management, psychotherapy, and primary care, helping patients navigate challenges related to mental health, trauma, and chronic illness. Allison currently serves as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Western Mental Health Institute, providing care for adults with complex psychiatric disorders, and at Right Track Medical Group, where she supports clients in outpatient settings.
Earlier in her career, Allison built a strong clinical foundation as an emergency department nurse, a clinical educator, and a provider of psychotherapy and medication management in private practice and public mental health organizations. She is also a certified forensic evaluator and has earned recognition for her leadership and clinical skills throughout her work in both inpatient and community-based programs.
Allison earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Union University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from the University of Mississippi. She holds certifications in advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced life support, and emergency nursing, reflecting her commitment to lifelong learning and excellence in patient care.
